Edit button instead of "double-click row" ?

Hi Loiane.

After a lot of readed pages how to connect Extjs frontend with MySQL backend - lastly (!) - I found Yours example of Contacts CRUD.

It is simple and easy readable and I have adopted it to My database successfully.

Can I kindly ask You for help a little with new button - Edit Record ? Because on phone display it cannot be edited - the double-click (double-touch) acts like zoom (in, out, whatever)...

I have created one, implemented icon for them - but I cannot get the right action on him, that reads selected row data into edit-form like the doubleclick does. It is due a lack of My coding experience but I have this like hobby and like to write some "pico-apps" for Me and My friends or colleagues (html, php, css) - but after work hours, and it is hard to study something effectively... I love to try to understand code what I find on net and modify them (attempt-mistake scenario 😄)

Next step should be a Extjs framework usage - because I have a idea of special (but simple in core) application - and how I see it at this time is that Extjs is very solid for frontend. But I missed the "proxy" in between frontend and backend (the idea was quite clear but the practice was missing).

And first what I want to do is to collect small pieces of working code which fulfill basic software needs of funcionality - and after them glue it into Extjs framework - I have created one very nice layout already, but now I should find the diamonds (funcionality) to fill them in 😃.
