[1.16.5 Issue] Anvil Reagent slot required for simply repairs

When placing a sword in an anvil along with some iron to repair it...it won't repair unless I also put some more iron in the reagent slot. This seems to be broken or just not proper behavior. I shouldn't need to put a reagent in at all.

Forge Version: 36.2.9
Mod Version: reagenchant-1.16.5-3.0.2b

[1.12.2] New Reagent Items Added via Jsons do not show in JEI tab

My Custom Reagents are working perfectly, except for one detail:

Despite working as a valid enchanting reagent, only the default list of reagent items show up in the JEI tab for the mod.

Datapacks only overwrite existing files

Hello! When I've been using OpenLoader for my custom reagent datapack, loading a new world seems to load my datapack, AND the default reagents. For now I'll get around it by renaming my .json files to match the ones I removed. But it may be something to look into?

Edit to include example: If I wanted to make it so I only had 1 Reagent, I'd need a pile of blank files named like the defaults.

[1.16.5] Questions

Does this mod add a new table, or does it change the vanilla one?
Would it be possible to have a config for that?, many mods try to change the Table functionality, and it becomes suboptimal(Quark finally changed that and make the Matrix Enchanting its own table, configurable)

Handling metadata

Say I have an item that is a metadata of another. How would I go about using that in the configs?

[1.15.2] Mod not working + Crash on mod config ([...] Root resources can only be filenames [...])

I installed Reagenchant 2.0.0 and LibraryEx 3.0.0, but didn't see any config files being generated, nor the mod was at all working. When I went into the Mods section on Minecraft's main menu and clicked Reagenchant, the game crashed.

I have reproduced this error on a .minecraft with only forge, Reagenchant and LibraryEx installed, so it's probably not a cross-mod incompatibility issue.
