Thanks for this gem! Everything works great in my development environment. When I deploy my app to Heroku, the icons file cannot be found:
GET http://fancytree-rails-demo.herokuapp.com/assets/icons.gif 404 (Not Found)

The javascript and css get loaded ok – as far as I can tell, just the images are missing. You can find my demo app at:

It feels like the problem might have something to do with this issue, but I can't tell what the solution is in this case:
rails/sprockets-rails#49

I'm using the Fancytree reload method now. My production server cannot find the loading.gif that Fancytree tries to display while waiting for the results. This sounds very similar to the situation I described in issue #2.

In the server log, I can see that it is trying to access the file at
example.com/assets/loading.gif

Getting an compile error on rails 3.2.17. If i switch to rails4 on the same app, the compilation finishes without errors.

Could also be a bug in sprockets/execjs though.
