Is it possibile to use it on a private way?

I really love the idea of having my own url shortner but I'm a bit worried because the service remain public, so somebody I don't know could create his own url shorteners with custom alias (using my domain).

Is there any way to use it only in a private way?

Redirection logic

I have looked through the code but I still didn't get how you are redirecting the website to the original URL whenever a shortened URL Is being entered. can you point me to the code for the same?

I noticed that you use jsonstore.io as storage. It’s an insecure place to store data.

Fork of Fossurl?

It seems this codebase is a fork of FossURL which I wrote last year. But you haven't put any mention of that and even Your LICENSE file still contains my name as copyright holder.

I hope you'll put a mention of FossURL.

Possibility to import and export data

Add support for 301 redirect

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It would be nice if the app can do a 301 redirect to preserve the title description image meta info on a link. Currently all links show the mnml meta info.

Links to be redirected via 301 instead

Not working

jsonstore.io is down
Since jsonstore.io is not functioning normally from many days so this shortner is not any more functional.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to sortner website
2. paste the long link and click shorten
3. And it ever and ever struck there with status shortening

Please fix it as I use it for my work
I am an newbie and don't have much knowledge of javascript so please fix it soon using some alternatives like jsonbix.io or other such projects.

I liked the script, I only uploaded the src folder and it worked fine,
Should i upload the other files too ? Besides, please remove the # from the generated keyword string,

Anyone can delete any link

So if someone generates a shorten link, they can trust that it will be there forever because someone (by accident or not) can delete it.

Probably the way to solve it is to let the user to login so only they could delete the URL.
