Hi, I'm using X230i under your EFI files with my dsdt/ssdt, running 10.14.6, and my Clover has updated to 5070, so can I update to 10.15 directly?

I'm trying to install 10.13 High Sierra on a x230. I have downloaded the the repo and copied it to the Correct location. Clover loads but if i press "Boot macOS Install from OS X Base System" it reboots. If i add "-v debug=0x100" to boot flags, to stop it from rebooting, then it display's these lines before crashing: https://imgur.com/a/ADe98KZ. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, im sorry to ask this, can you guide me for the mojave update through appstore? is it safe? will it wipe my disk/data or not?

i haven't touch anything after following your guide, clover or kext update or anything, i've done some minor fix myself after successful install, but honestly, i forgot almost everything i did before, and that's like a year ago.

the laptop is currently my main daily-driver, including for work, so, doing clean install from beginning is a no go for me. that's another reason why i didn't touch anything, im affraid it'll break stuffs and force me to do clean install.

Did touchpad not have the Jumpy issue when using MacOS?

First off, thanks for posting instructions and EFI folder.

I like using the trackpoint, so I spent some time on it. I'm not sure which were the exact things that got it working, but this is what I did:

• Delete EFI/CLOVER/kextx/Other/VoodooPS2Controller.kext
• Download X220_macOS_10.13_Utility_and_Kext_pack_07.09.2018.zip from x220.mcdonnelltech.com -- this uses a modified version of the kext by tluck for T420/T460
• Reduce sensitivity by modifying that version's VoodooPS2Controller.kext/Contents/PlugIns/VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext/Contents/Info.plist : change all MouseMultiplierX and MouseMultiplierY to 2
• Copy that new kext to /Library/Extensions

sudo cp -RH VoodooPS2Controller.kext /Library/Extensions/
sudo kextcache -I /Volumes/<your vol name>

• Copy https://github.com/tluck/Lenovo-T420-Clover/blob/master/EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/SSDT-T420-PS2K.aml to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/ (this might not do anything)
• Download https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-voodoo-ps2-controller/downloads/
  and install the daemon

   sudo cp org.rehabman.voodoo.driver.Daemon.plist /Library/LaunchDaemons
   sudo cp Release/VoodooPS2Daemon /usr/bin

With that, the trackpoint and buttons work. You can also toggle disabling the trackpad by pressing PrtSc.

BTW, I think there's a problem with shutting down with USB devices connected that makes it restart instead, but I haven't played with this much.

This is no issue, but after hours of having audio problems with my x230 on 10.15.4 I stumbled upon this gem of an EFI folder and it pretty much fixed all my problems not just the audio ones (slow bootup, bad kexts, etc) and I just want to appreciate the hard work put into this repo. Thank you! You have probably saved me and others days of extra work 🙏
