ShogiGUI-piece-sets

All types of sets are included:

The sets are scaled 5/8 the size of physical pieces. Increase by 60% to get the size of physical pieces.

Made with Inkscape a free vector graphics software. Also boards and piece stand. The SVG folder contains the sets but in SVG format so you can make your own custom sets and share them please. The PNG folder contains all mentioned above in picture format.

Credit: Kanji P and International pieces were made by CouchTomato, but I made them 3D, arranged and edited them onto the ShogiGUI format so enjoy. :)

Piece incorrect issue

Promoted knight and promoted lance have swapped (1-Kanji HiRez.png).
Please check and fix it.

Trace hidetchi's G

This is necessary to make filled sets bc currently the piece filled in sections are filled in by the pencil tool.

Thick texture sets

The pieces would look like they were painted with thick texture.

Import guides and resize via rule of 3/algebra

Trace hidetchi's dragon

The version that has the dragon on mounted on the rook. The dragon is fine for none filled sets but not for filled in sets. Each section of the symbol needs to be separated so it can be filled in correctly.
I'm currently not interested in making this fix since i prefer the first version of the dragon hidetchi made so if someone likes the mounted dragon on the rook then be my guest and please make this fix.

Make sets with Extra pieces

Not everyone is Catholic or Christian. I made bishops with movement arrows to replace the cross because i saw someone saying something similar about hidetchi's bishop.
The arrows however look blurry on shogiGUI.

Delete linear gradients on plastic sets

S hidetchi align bottom

Perhaps other pieces need to be aligned to be symmetrical at the bottom.
Need to check.

Polish 1 & 2 kanji pngs

They need symmetry adjustments, but 1st they must be vectored. Thankfully the image is medium resolution.
