justdocs's Issues

GitInfo/Lastmod info incorrect

I'm building out a site that's built on justdocs, it has a dozen or so commits on top of the JustDocs repository's master.

I've been wrestling with the fact that the Lastmod info in the footer is not correct. I have enabled GitInfo and done everything short of pulling out my hair.

I just noticed that your sample site for the Justdocs site: https://docsyjustdocs.netlify.app/ is displaying the same date that I get: Last modified January 29, 2020: Just the docs! (52e5f1e).

I'm assuming (dangerous, that...) that you've updated and republished the site since then.

I can't see what's special about that commit, nor can I figure out how to get my hooks into debugging it.

If, in fact, your demo site has the "same problem" my site has, do you have any insights?

Integrating justdocs capabilities into main Docsy?

Hi, Justdocs is just what I need, but I'd like to be using something that is being actively maintained over time. Is it possible that the Justdocs capabilities could be moved into the main Docsy through configuration options?

Removing the docs directory after content

Hi!

I've been looking at the justdocs project and was wondering how you were able to remove the mandatory 'docs' directory from 'content' that stores all the content in there. I saw that you were handling this in the justdocs project and was curious how it was being done. I have a current setup where we don't want to have the additional /docs directory for the overhead it causes, but running into the issue where the left-hand menu doesn't display everything in content/.

For example, our structure could be:

  • content
    -- apis
    -- overview
    -- changelog

but if we link to apis/ from our landing page, the lefft-menu only shows files/directories from within apis/ and there's no way to see anything from /content.

Happy to provide more information if requested. Thank you!

Section Index not showing on right hand side

Hello. When viewing the justDocs demo at https://docsyjustdocs.netlify.app/tasks/porridge/ or when building the repo locally, the section index panel seems to be showing on the left hand side, next to the section menu, as opposed to on the right hand side where it would normally be found in Docsy.

This seems to only occur on the English version, and not the Norsk.

Update (07/08/2021): workaround found as detailed in the issue linked below.
