Land Information New Zealand LandXML importer for QGIS. Import parcels and marks from a LINZ Landonline LandXml file

The imported data are loaded into memory layers. It is recommended that you install the MemoryLayerSaver plugin so that the data are preserved when the project is saved. Alternatively you can save the data from QGIS to a persistent format after it has been loaded.

Mark id not populating

When reading LandOnLine XML the mrk_id is not populated when point name is for example, [26838069]

XML error in QGIS

Hello, when I try to import a XML Extract shows this error:

I have this problem when I try to import the Parcels, no problem with marks and observations.
I would like to now how to fix this, Many thanks

crs unrecognized and line feature empty on import

Hi, I've got a LandXML file and when I import it into QGIS 2.18.1 it imports an empty line feature and the CRS is also unrecognized.

I've attached the xml zipped for reference.

Looks like it was generated from AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014.

Please add missing info

Problem importing xml 'name'

LandXML Plugin - Problem Importing XML

We are having trouble with some of the XML files for new subdivisions from LINZ. I have installed the LandXML plugin in QGIS, but I always get an error message saying problem importing XML. This has occurred on every XML file I have tried.

Can you please help with this?

Error message during import of XML file

Hi there.

I've got a problem importing XML date in QGIS.
I've exported the XML data from an interactive PDF map view through Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
When I try to import the XML file into QGIS using the LandXML plugin I get the following error message:
"Problem importing xml 'name'"
I've got no idea how to solve this. I've been reading up how to import XML data into QGIS but I haven't found another way.

Want to be able to see the Monument pntRef field

Issue received via email from user:

The latest version still does not read the mark id from the 12d export. See the attached file.

The 12d export shows SS 61 SO 4952 with a point reference of 60 which is the same as in 12d

    <Monument name="SS 61 SO 4952" pntRef="60" type="plaque" condition="reliable"/>

So it's this value that I want populated in the mrk_id field. Presently this field is always blank as shown in the attached image. Is it possible to automatically populate the mrk_id field which would be a great help as everything in 12d, GPS, total station and even land on line uses this same id. I'm hoping for it in QGIS as well.

Please add an About field to metadata

So users can realize if the plugin is useful to them before installing.
