For the expiring feature, it could be possible to change the time range to shorter or longer. Another possibility is to allow users to vary the time frame depending on the ingredient for it to be considered "expiring". For example, the shelf life of milk and instant noodles differ greatly, so it might make sense for what is considered expiring to differ for these two ingredients.

Perhaps optional arguments could be provided to allow fast-typists to complete the task more quickly. Current version might have too many steps and cause inconvenience to the target user group.

Perhaps the dates accepted could be restricted to only future dates.

Perhaps the message in response to user typing 'n' could differ from the message in response to user typing invalid inputs.

Perhaps the error message can inform the user that the date does not exist rather than it being in an invalid format. On a side note, well done on not accepting dates that are invalid but in the correct format!

I would expect that bacon appears below milk since the user guide states in order of how recently it was added.

The feature on giving notifications to the user every 4hours is quite hard to test. I'm not sure when it should appear.

I'm not sure how to add ingredients to the shoplist. Did I miss something? If I did my apologies, just ignore this.
