Being able to save FM Instruments is going to require, at minimum, a new GYB version. Will need to look and see if its worth it to create a new GYB version, or just create a new format entirely and simply allow importing GYBs.

Basically coming up with a in-memory format for interfacing to allow easy exporting to any other format.

Ability to calculate and alter the volumes of a midi within the editor itself.
Possibly by mapping the volumes linearly and including some sort of curve editor?

M2S only supporting previewing FM Patches however with all of the planned features, I think it would be important to be able to preview FM Instruments, PSG Envelopes, and DAC samples, as well as anything else that's possible to be previewed.

Self-explanatory. Add some sort of menu to allow users to customize the theme, maybe detecting the system theme if possible.

Not necessarily a M3S issue. Need to edit the YM2612 library to allow for getting the generated waveform.

FM Instruments being what gets mapped to GM instruments, which link FM Patches with other configurations for how a GM Instrument should sound.
