Disabling text for Carousel on Homepage

Describe the bug
Currently, if a shortcode is used on the homepage (https://tour-operator-demo.lsdev.biz/) the description of the team member is pulling through even though the excerpt is empty on the team member itself.

The parameters - show_desc="0" & disable_text="0" don't do anything from what I can see and the official documentation on our site - https://tour-operator.lsdev.biz/documentation/extension/team/ does not outline the possible parameters for the shortcode or their effects.

Expected behaviour
Being able to disable excerpt or text when using a Carousel on Homepage.
