That probably means it had extra padding in the overscan area and the core doesn't have any means for cropping that out yet.

You can use the cropping options in the image-adjustment shader in the meantime.

You can now do this by setting horizontal overscan to 32, initial scanline to 8 and last scanline to 232. Some games, like the Panzer Dragoon trilogy and Sega Rally, draw stuff in the horizontal overscan area though. You might want to make overrides with horizontal set to 0 for them. NiGHTS and Christmas NiGHTS draw in that area too if you set the aspect to wide in the games' TV settings. I set horizontal to 2 for them to cut off the colored line on the left.

@Awakened0 Thank you for that info it worked for everything ive tested so far. Now if we can get a slider for those settings or a checkbox to make it easier for some people. So they can swap between the defaults and the stretch if need be for those games you mentioned. Then this issue will be complete shouldn't be to hard to add that since the settings now exist.

because its redundant to have a similar setting that is able do fine tuning compared to fixed cropping. not all games has that black borders though,
