Unity User Interface Examples

Welcome to UUE! A collection of UI examples for Unity. There's two types of examples, screen space & world space. If you don’t know the difference, click here to find out.

Examples

Each example has a readme with images, so click an example below to find out more!

• FizzleFade (From Wolfenstein 3D)
• Offest (UI Which offset the mouse)
• Prision Architect (Building/Managment)
• Percentage Based (Like CSS for Unity)
• Rocket League (Generic menu and text ticker)
• Bar Chart (A customizable bar chart in Unity)

World Space

• LootBox (Useful for RPG's)
• Holographic Wrist UI (A holographic UI on a character's wrist)

Using an example in your own project

If you just want to use the examples, that's fine! All you have to do is;

• Download the repository as a ZIP.
• Extract the ZIP.
• Copy files to your project.

unity-ui-examples's Issues

Add code style guidelines

We can fix Issue #5 but without a styling document the situation will only get worse. Add a code style guideline.

Scripts are not organised into component menus

All scripts should be organised into menu items. At the moment 'New component > Scripts' is a mess and shows hundreds of scripts.

Update Fizzlefade readme

The Fizzlefade project's README.md needs updating.

All new scripts should be in component menu

Add this to the contributing guidelines

Fix styling of C# code

It's an inconsistent mess at the moment.

Public fields inconsistent.
Private fields inconsistent.

Update Offset readme

The Offset project's README.md needs updating.

• Add a demo image (preferably gif)
• Consider renaming project
