Condensing the harmonic lessons of the cloud into the nano realm.

The goal of the Anima project is to create a distributed data procesing engine capible of running on small embedded micro computers. This allows the lessons learned from distributed process and cloud to apply to the emergeing world of ubiquitous micro-computing.

Note: The scope of the anima project has been substantially reduced due to overlap with the Robot OS project, and discontinuation of grant-funded work. Thus, only the driver code is updated.

anima's Issues

[comm] Unit test communication module

Unit tests should be written for the communication module. This applies to outstanding issues.

[comm] Network proxy

Add a network enabled proxy that can proxy local connections from arbitrary publishers (local and on network) to arbitrary subscribers (local and on network).

• Must be a micro-service
• Must detect new local sockets
• Add in local/network mode for pubs and subs

[comm] Command network

The communication network needs to support command messages not just data pushes.
