Install

git clone https://github.com/leb-kuchen/cosmic-ext-applet-emoji-selector 
cd cosmic-ext-applet-emoji-selector 
cargo b -r
sudo just install

Config

The configuration directory is ~/.config/cosmic/dev.dominiccgeh.CosmicAppletEmojiSelector/v1/. In addition, the default schema can be installed with just install-schema

Emoji font

Noto Color Emoji is the default emoji font and is required by default. The default can be changed in ~/.config/cosmic/dev.dominiccgeh.CosmicAppletEmojiSelector/v1/font_family. A font which supports Unicode 15.1 is generally recommended.

emoji-selector-applet-for-cosmic's Issues

localization doesn't work

Hi, i've just succefully packaged your applet for Fedora here https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/wiiznokes/cosmic-applets-unofficial/ (still building atm).

While testing it, i noticed my default language was not used (french).

When i search meat, it found the corresponding emoji, but with viande, it does not. Other cosmic apps that use the LANGUAGE_LOADER thing work well for me.

Another small nit pick is that the crate name is not cosmic-ext-applet-emoji-selector which make it a little harder to package
