• Newsly is a Unity3D application that runs on a Node.js backend.
• (There's also a healthy dash of Express, Mongoose and Restify in there somewhere.)
• News articles are currently pulled using The Guardian's API from amongst the wide choice encompassed by Intel Mashery.
