To be honest, I don't know what would be a good choice. I think the FDL has shown itself to be rather impractical. Perhaps some form of CC?

The project appears to be inactive; the last commit was on Jan 2. Could anyone confirm if we're proceeding with the project?

I'll figure out this eventually. I will have very little time to do it, however.

On my machine, in c4d67f8 there are a few places where we've got a bunch of empty pages. For example, chapter 2 ends on page 20 but the Appendices only start on page 25, and the first appendix starts on page 29. Part of the gap is because things must start on an oddly numbered page, but it seems to me like Appendices on 23 and Appendix A on 25 would make more sense.

Exercises have duplicate labels.
