It would be nice to have a configurable slack command to do the link lookup. Slack also supports forms now that could be used to add links.

The extension could set a cookie with it's version. If we know the version, we can recommend upgrading when a newer version is available. We can also hide the download button when it isn't necessary.

It would be convenient to have random short link generation but it would also be nice if random short links didn't show up in autocomplete or search results.

We could have a native link submission form. This might do a necessary job of surfacing how regexps work that the basic airtable form.

I'm imaging that we could have a link unfurling service that bridges the gap between slack and the main service. This service would monitor any channel which it's been invited. The slack integration could post events to this app with a url that contains an api key which allows us to access the main gauche links service. Then we don't need any authentication on this service itself, apart from the slack secret that let's us know that the request came from our own slack installation.

Potentially _add could point to a google form that writes to a google sheet. Or we could also create a a native entry form on web. It wouldn't be that form. Currently, we delegate that form elsewhere just because this was a hackathon project and it was the simplest way.

Currently we depend on a form in airtable to create links, but a native creation dialog would be pretty simple.

The browser extension should be capable of converting shortlinks to normal links and perhaps even adding some description on hover. This would be an option on the extension.

We can only show all the links now on the root page, but it would be better to have a search field and populate the matching links via ajax.
