stilo-themes's Issues

Files: unreadable bottom-right information

Describe the issue

When selecting items in Files, if the last item is at the bottom of the window the information on the bottom right is hard to read.

Versions

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
GNOME Shell 3.36.1 (x11)

Transparency Option

Would it be feasible to introduce a variant that has transparency, similar to Arc (now maintained here)?

Empty new line in right-click menu

Describe the issue

When in Files, right-clicking on a directory opens a contextual menu. There is an empty new line after the last entry (Properties) in this menu.

I don't know if it is intended.

XFCE 4.16 Dark Mode compatibility

Hi.
Running Debian stable with XFCE desktop (XFCE 4.16).
The panel's Dark Mode doesn't work through whiskmenu with Stiloetto.
Whiskmenu is light while the panel is dark.
Works okay with Stilo though.

Thanks.

New folder button

With latest Stiloetto (I am on the commit f61f2bb39232a3e307e26b6ff4cdd92d87b1c4e8 of this repository, to be more precise), this is what I see when I try to create a new folder:

This on GNOME 3.28.3.

Sound indicator

With latest Stiloetto (GTK) / Stilo (GNOME Shell), I have this when I hit the volume buttons on my laptop keyboard:

screenshot

The bar indicating the volume level under the speaker "icon" looks a bit too dark to be readable. I don't know if this is only a problem with my screen (Dell XPS 13), or my eyes (short-sighted, sometimes I don't trust my eyes).

Nothing really serious, I can tell the volume level by the bars beside the speaker.

Thunderbird status bar

Describe the issue

Hi,

I am using Stilo theme as my theme for applications and GNOME Shell. On Thunderbird 68.8.0, the status bar shows round corners which results in a really minor flickering when the bar reaches one of them.

I am not sure the screenshot below can help, because I didn't catch the blue bar hitting the right corner, but you can see the corners are rounded. When the blue bar hits the corners it quickly becomes rounded itself, right before turning back to straight corners until it reaches the opposite corner.

This is really a minor problem, if a problem at all. The theme looks great overall and I've been using it for months.

GNOME compatibility

Hi,

first of all thanks for another set of wonderful themes. I've been using your amber-theme for quite a while, but recently I switched to Stiloetto (GTK) and Stilo (GNOME Shell).

Note that this is not an issue, just a note from enthusiastic user. In the README, you wrote:

It's possible that some parts of the theme will work with earlier versions. No fixes will however be made for earlier versions.

I am on Ubuntu 18.04.2 with GNOME 3.28.3, and everything looks gorgeous already.

If, for the sake of completeness, you want to have the themes tested on this version of GNOME (no earlier than 3.28, to be more precise), do let me know. I'll be glad to try the themes and report back any issues I may find, saving you the time to check on 3.28 while working of 3.30+.

Do as you see fit, of course, I have always amber-theme to switch back to in case you break something. ;)

Keep up the great work!
