Git submodule support
The project does not work when including it as a submodule; the package can't be found by CMake, and when manually specifying the _DIR variable, the config step fails too. I'm investigating a potential solution on my end 👍
In the end, I decided to add it as a git submodule and added this to a suitable place in my CMakeLists.txt:
target_sources(${PROJECT_NAME} PRIVATE ${CMAKE_CURRENT_SOURCE_DIR}/deps/dotenv-cpp/include/laserpants/dotenv/dotenv.h)
