This tool has been deprecated and is no longer usable, since the university has transitioned to a new timetabling system, Allocate+, which provides its own calendar sync.

The original readme is available below, and the resource is still available online, however it will no longer be maintained or updated.

Make it clearer that ics doesn’t sync with my unimelb

Fix filesaver on safari and ios

Add detailed instructions on how to use on main page

Allow selective export of specific classes or subjects, rather than all.

Related to #10

Will require new menu to select specific classes. (Could hide in "more options")

Add personalisation and customisation options to ICS generation

Examples include:

• Make lectures transparent ("free")
• Show class number in event title
• Show subject code, subject name or both in event title

Add descriptions / notes to iCalendar events

Auto-update semester timings with date changes

Include

• Semester 2, 2019
• Summer Term, 2020
• Semester 1, 2020
• Semester 2. 2020

Add responsive input field validation

If no classes found or empty input field, dynamically update to reflect that.

Red outline and helper text maybe?
Using boostrap validator classes instead of simple 'return'

Parse input on textarea.addEventListener("change", ... ) rather than on click generate

Allows data validation for text before generate is hit.

Will require classes, subjects to be defined in the global scope.

Will make the site seem more responsive.

Will require moving options logic out of parse.js and into ical.js. Some options logic is already in ical.js but putting it all together will be better in terms of code quality.

Mid semester break leaves Friday classes in the calendar.

Not sure what causes this yet.

Add more verbose output, showing which subjects (and possibly which classes)

Underneath generate button, could use <pre> tags.

E.g.
