Write connection to database of recievers/numbers.

It may be whichfull tihnking but having threads to handle more then one gsm modem/phone would make a big diffrence in performance and reliability. This depends on a working queue .

Sometimes when the phone recieves an sms the program hangs before reaching the callback function. Havent found a way to replicate this, but it's happened a few times.

The app needs to be able to recieve and send multipart SMSes

if a message is received that isn't from an admin, delete it from the phone to keep the inbox free.

Put sms.py in to background like a daemon. THen make sure all stdout goes to a logfile as in issue "loggin".

THe sms modem m ay get a full inbox of sms messages and this needs to be 1 checked or all incomming messages should be removed.

Compare gammu, smsclient, sms-pl and smstools as backends.

when knowing more how the gammu backend works, adding some more verbosity while initializing the phone wouldn't hurt

be more verbose when phone is initializing. error if not connected, or settings are wrong

The latest release of gammu allows one to check the gprs status. It would be nice to show this status.

create an interface for adding/removing numbers from lists

idea: to have a little string in the message group definition file, that is sent out in the beginning of every message, for anyone that doesnt know where the message comes from. like a header, or maybe a footer/signature

Centralize logging to syslog

Make sure sms's are qeued.
