anbox86's Issues

How do I use this?

this might be a dumb question but im kinda a newbie about linux and termux stuff and i couldnt find any instructions about how to use it.

BINFMT

Hi,

In your File you mention TODO a way to use BINFMT. Have you tried taking the binfmt.service file and executing it as termux-service?

Termux's proot-distro package has updated to Ubuntu hirsute (instead of Ubuntu 20.01)

Hey man :)

Just wanted to let you know that proot-distro seems to have removed Ubuntu 20.01 and moved to a newer distro just as of last week. This would be an easy fix except that proot-static seems to conflict with the new update somehow.

The main issue is that I can log into proot with proot-distro login --isolated ubuntu just fine and run things if I don't have proot-static downloaded, but if I do download proot-static then I can't do apt update anymore inside ubuntu.

I'm trying to see if I can find a workaround but I'm stuck at the moment

I suspect that the main issue might be the apt repo's not having armhf packages or something

WiFi network at work blocks proot's internet

I'm currently investigating a workaround for this, but just wanted to document as I went.

Termux can update packages with pkg update, but once I'm in proot I can't do apt update (debian server connections time out).

This only happens at work. My home network doesn't have this problem. Also, if I turn on a mobile hotspot on my phone and connect to that, I can use the internet just fine.

I think this problem may be related to termux/proot#101

Desktop environment please

Can you integrate the desktop environment and XRDP or tigerVNC into Anbox64-86. I tried to install but no success. Thank you very much

winetricks needs zenity and kdialog

Winetricks works for me after adding zenity and kdialog.

My setup is a lil different from default as I removed Xephyr from .bashrc, I've tested that in a vnc session with lxde running.

Ofcourse I added BOX86_NOBANNER=1 in /usr/local/bin/wine
