Determine Model, input format, and brainstorm possible problems.
- Model idea: Create end to end compression network if we treat the audio as an image and then work on the extracted latent image for classification of plated chords.
- Can create an audio "image" by displaying frequency domain over time.
- Potential Problem: Audio "image" may have very little learnability. Potentially akin to trying to learn random noise.
- Potential Problem: Aliasing may occur, during the downsampling process. Definitely, not good if we are working on audio.
- Potential Problem: Currently, with a sampling rate of 44.1k, we are creating a massive amount of data. This would mean that the input would be extrodinarily large.
