I added (f278975) an argument to show version of the image to make it easier to distinguish newer releases from older ones. It will be available in the next release.

This is normal, it's a version of the script itself which may differ from the release version. More precisely, only the third digit may differ, but not the first two. I know this is a bit confusing.
