Are there any performance measurements of Luna ideally compared to "regular" C Lua measurements?

Consider the following program:

function a() return "baz" end
local x = {}
x[a()] = 42
return x

x now contains x[42] = "baz" and not x["baz"] =42 as it should, because the Assignment transformer pushes the value onto the stack, but popVal is confusing that with the MultiVal for the key.
The same would happen with object, however that would likely produce illegal code and fail to run entirely.
