• Basic Frontend

  • Improve Frontend (Homepage) - Reduce unnecessary stuf, privacy policy
    • maybe show past results, teachers
  • Display Hi name in navbar.
  • Add some info in the feedback portal (it is a way for communicating with the teacher)
  • Make an FAQ page describing everything in short.
  • placeholder in text boxes (Integer instead of int) - or label in front.
  • Add info everywhere
  • Red asterisk for mandatory

• Login/Register

  • Email verification before login
  • Account created by staff / admin - add random password & email it.
  • Logout user if deleted
  • Forgot password, and/or reset password
  • Prevent creating admin user using the register option.
  • Email id all lowercase
  • Check for duplicate email id and username
  • /user/** redirect if user is already logged in (except /user/logout and checking if user is logged in)

• Payment Portal

  • Online transaction using API

• Validation

  • Add validation everywhere and check it.
  • File validation in study material

• Academic Portal

  • Student/Teacher - display study materials that can be accessed.
  • Prevent students from enrolling in more than one batch of a course (later batch fee will increase), maybe set a due date for enrolling in a batch.
  • Remove "Edit Enrollment" option from student.

• Results Portal

  • Display total marks while adding result and in list view, also validate
  • Show which tests not appeared.
  • Sort in proper order

• Attendance Portal

  • Mark "other teachers/staff as absent" button for Admin/Staff.

• General

  • Fix basic salary, join date and end date to be null.
  • Change true/false in jsp to Yes/No.
  • jsp file - join three names into one.
  • Rename certain fields with the boolean value, isActive -> active.
  • Redirect if clicked on own studentId, facultyId, staffId.
  • Remove student portal from teacher
  • Make everything as transaction
  • yyyy/mm/dd to dd/mm/yyyy

• Database

  • Populate the database.
