Labels management

The goal of this task is to manage (synchronize) labels of tasks in different Github repositories with one command - using a python script. At the moment developers need to do it "by hand" in each repository, which creates differences between labels and takes a lot of time. The script should solve that issue.

Task preparation:

  • read about github - what it is and how it is used.
  • understand what github label is: create 2 or 3 different repositories (on your account), add few test issues and label them
  • read about python programming language - how is it different from C++? Answer this question in your own words in the comments of this task
  • create a txt file called numbers.txt containing random numbers (one number per line). Try to push the file to this repository (read about pushing and pulling to github first).
  • write a short python script reading numbers from numbers.txt and multiplying each number by the previous number. (the first one should be multiplied by 0, since there is no previous number)
  • save the script under test.py file and push it to this repository
