Overview

Eat and Split is a React application that helps you easily split bills with friends. It calculates how much each person owes or is owed after a meal or any shared expense. The app also allows you to add new friends and manage shared expenses seamlessly.

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/kotiyalashwin/eatnsplit.git
   cd eatnsplit

2. Install the dependencies:

   npm install

3. Start the development server:

   npm run start

Usage

Splitting a Bill

1. Select or add friends from the list.
2. Enter the total bill amount.
3. Assign the amount each person has paid or should pay.
4. View the calculated balances to see who owes whom.

Adding New Friends

1. Navigate to the "Add Friend" section.
2. Enter the friend's name and any additional details.
3. Save to add them to your friends list.
