perfectday's People
perfectday's Issues
Show "today's value" on the home screen
At present you only see your confirmed worth (e.g. all days before today).
Perhaps show it in the header like:
0.78 + 55pd
Add the ability to go back and change whether you did habits on previous days
Because when I did this task using just habitica I found that I would often forget to check that I had done things in the evening then I would be stuck not having "done" them the next day. That was the major motivation behind this project.
Display spinners/loading indications when waiting for API
Add ability to delete habits
... without losing the entire history of that habit. That is to say: just mark them as inactive, not deleted.
Pretty sure we're CSRF vulnerable
Unless there's something truly magical happening somewhere in django or drf, I don't think we have anything to prevent CSRF attacks at all. Not that we have anything massively important stored.
Move the inline components out of a few screen-specific containers
Add "bad" habits
Stuff you're not allowed to do, things that -- if you do them -- will lose you pd.
Importantly some of these need to have severe consequences (e.g. many days of pd; possibly a flat "all of your pd")
I expect these will display on the main habits screen as a middle section (after #3 is done)
Weekday offsets think they're relative to the start of a week
Actually they're relative to an arbitrary date: the start of the schedule.
Add screen for displaying and interacting with rewards
A list much like the current habits list, buttons for buy and edit, FAB for new?
Display first because I can already add and edit rewards in the DRF interface; add/edit screens will branch from the display screen.
Detail page for habits
Add displays for:
- Short and long descriptions
- Schedule
Sort / Filter habits on main habit screen
Show "today's habits" first, other habits after; have headers for these.
Need to show non-today habits so the user can access them to edit/view.
FAB swipes along with tabs
Swiping between tabs pauses noticeably
Prospective habit state doesn't get loaded when you refresh the habit edit page
It doesn't see the location as having changed so it doesn't dispatch the copy event
Standardize component/container location properly
Right now shit's all over the place. Let's at least decide on a solid rule for where we put these things.
Write a readme, dammit
Nobody likes a repo without a readme.
Add the habit weighting mechanism to the UI
Will need some thought on display and input for this as the weighting means different things on different days - depending on the weights of other habits on that day.
Obvious thing: keep all weights on the same scale, same order of magnitude
Maybe the maximum difference in weighting should be "twice as important" or some such.
Add graphs
Nice graphing was one of the major motivations behind this project (in contrast with habitica).
For now at least the following graphs make sense to add:
- Total Worth
- Sparkline Graph for individual habits worth
The objective is to make it easy to figure out which habits I'm good at and which I'm bad at, as well as my general performance over time.
This may later tie in with other data I start including (e.g. it would be interesting to see how habit effectiveness correlates with things like diet, mood, sleep, major life events like relationships and moving house)
Stop storing all the JS under "python/assets"
python
is distinctly the last place I would look if I were trying to find a projects JS
Need to figure out how to maintain the integration between this and django, though.
Add / Edit Rewards
Add an "edit reward" screen, use it for adding the new ones much like the current habit mechanism.
Consider the CSS grid for more layout control
Add Login screen to the client
At the moment I'm logging in with django-admin
