Hi there. First I would like to thank you for your very useful extension. This was a very important thing that made me become a Roon user.

I just bought a BW Formation Duo speakers.
I just noticed that volume steps when using in RAAT mode are very precise… Too precise I would like to say: it can vary by digits after decimal point (ie 14.9, 15.0, 15.1…)

I use your extension to control my Roon endpoints, especially to control volume, playback etc… In harmony, when I press +/- volume, volume usually increases/decreases by 1 step which is fine

Here when I am using Harmony with the Formation Duo, when I press a button to increase/decrease the volume when streaming with RAAT, one press increases/decreases by one digit after the decimal point and not the whole number…

So I need to press 100x times volume up / down to make volume vary by one step.
This is a real pain!!

This issue is only visible when my Formation Duo in RAAT mode but not in Airplay mode (I guess that in RAAT mode, volume steps are enabled to be very precise).

Is there a way to my extension controls the Roku ghost player to increase / decrease the volume by 100 steps at a time?

After working brilliantly for 2 years, Deep Harmony is not working. The application is running (Rasberry Pi), and the extension is recognised in Roon setup but periodically disappears and re-initialises. When trying to save the setup it usually goes nowhere, but occasionally will crash Roon. The only thing that has changed is I've loaded Roon updates. Is it possible the latest Roon update is conflicting with Deep Harmony?

The Volume Control in my activity is working with "Device Volume" and the Harmony Remote. What I need is a mapping of this "Device Volume" to another Zone.

Setup:

Roon -> rooUPNP -> FiiO M15 - ruark R5

AudioDevice: D1
Activity: Listen to Music

The FiiO M15 is using lineOut Fixed and roon and rooUPNP are using BitPerfect

Roon - rooUPNP - ruark R5

AudioDevice: D2

per rooUPNP i am able to change the volume of the ruark R5 because the ruark R5 is not Harmony compatible.

It would be perfect with an option: Use The Volume of D2 with the Activity from D1

I have a setup with two Harmony hubs and two remotes. The other hub has two types of activities: A/V activities and one activity for toggling Philips Hue Smart Plug on/off. The smart plug activity is independent of the other activities on the hub, ie. I can have my TV activity on and switch the smart plug activity on and off. Maybe this is what gets Deep Harmony confused.

If I reset DH configuration and remake all the settings, the smart plug activity works for a while before it stops working. DH seems to think the activity is off, though it isn't. No amount of convincing or activity switching is enough to convince it otherwise.

As a result, my Roon Zone - relying on the smart plug activity to switch on the audio gear - stays paused, thus making me not hear any music.

Please advice: bug, feature or dumb user?

as more and more users migrate to armv8 is there a chance you will provide a docker image for this more modern platform too?

After I loaded a backup into my new roon server I could not add any radio stations into my favourites.

The Playlists I have in tidal are updated though...

I tried to reset the settings already but with no affect
