The strategy of loading optional dependencies is non-deterministic as a transducer library loaded in a subtree of the dependency tree may be loaded instead of the desired implementation. This could be caused by the non-deterministic loading of npm3, but there may have been cases in npm2 where this occurred as well.

The usefulness of any-transduce is questionable anyway as the three supported implementations subscribe to a common protocol and can be used interchangeably. My original use case was with underarm but that has since been updated to use transduce directly.

Proposal:

Deprecate any-transduce and add no further updates. Instead recommend installation of transduce
