Install

  • Download Noesis: http://richwhitehouse.com/index.php?content=inc_projects.php&showproject=91
  • Uncompress the bayonetta.7z in the plugins folder of noesis (uncompress bayonetta_x64.7z in the x64 folder located in the plugins folder of noesis)
  • Noesis will come with the same plugin but it's default options and options store are different
  • When plugin options are changed, the configuration is reset
  • Plugin options need to be enabled in Noesis: Tools/Display Plugin Tools must be turned on

Nier Automata Animation Loading

Hi, kind of new to using Noesis and your plugin. I'm having trouble loading the animations for the 2B model from Nier Automata, using your plugin. I try to open pl0000.dtt, and then when it asks me to load the motion files, I select pl0000.dat, but it keeps asking me to select the motion file. When I click cancel, the model appears in Noesis, but I'm not sure if the animations are loaded. I cancel disable the armor meshes in the Data Viewer to see 2B clearly, but I don't know where to look to see if the animations are loaded in. Any ideas on what to do?

extract nca

i know it's not relative your pluggin, but im kinds of stucked on extract nca file of Astral Chain, just like to know if you have idea about it
basically i can get nca files from XCI and that's it, cannot extract nca file, tool says i need to get title keys for the game, but no idea where to get keys

cannot load animation from pl000f.dat

hi again,

i'm trying to get main character animation of bayonetta 2, after extract dat files, i found they are in pl000f.dat, but when i use your neosis plug-in to load this file, it seems cannot load animation with. i also tried reassign motion file in the dialog, but not working.

have and idea about this issue?

can't find the .dll?

I've been trying to figure this out for hours now. the I've extracted it about every way I can think of but I cannot find the dll file to replace in noesis. please help I am stuck.

Loading motion on other skins

Hello!
Regarding bayontta's files. Ive used the animation prompt to get the motions from pl0010.dat for the pl0000.dat mesh. My question is how do i get the motions on other skins from these files? For example the pl0089.dat is a skin i want to extract with motion but using pl0010.dat on it does nothing, which i presume is because of the skeleton.

Anarchy Reigns - Unable to preview or export.

Using latest version of noesis (v4473) and trying to export .dat from the PS3 version of AR but to no avail - I don't know if I'm doing something wrong with the process but any help would be appreciated.

No Bayonetta

Hi, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, first timer here.
I'm having an issue where I can't open up any of Bayonetta's models or animations.
Like I noticed this with bayo2, but also with bayo3.
That if I try to open her or any of her variant files noesis says either won't load it or she's locked in a T pose.
Am I missing a step or is her stuff encrypted?
The mystery is killing me.

Issue with "Transparent" Textures

Good morning/afternoon/evening!

So i've trying to export some models from bayonetta 3 (specifically of the homunculi), and basically all of them have textures that can only be visualized with the cycle blend feature.

No issue here.
However, when exporting the model, these "transparent" textures are simply deleted in my experience.

I'm stumped on finding a solution to this problem. Is there any way to export the textures as if they had no blend, or to "fix" the textures after they are exported?

put animation into different files

Nier Automata Animations Wont Export (64Bit)

Using the new 64 bit version of noesis was able to do the animations of the HO229 Flight Unit. But as soon as im attempting on 2B it gets stuck and never exports anything. Left it overnight the other day and still didnt spit nothing out. ill be attempting 9s in a second am hoping that does work. am also exporting to psk and psa due to the workflow for proccessing them afterwards.

don't know if im the only one experiencing that issue. also it seems to be it also warns about multiple root bones but the HO229 had that too and that exported fine so im a bit confused whats going wrong with the export

Neosis Crash When Export Anim

it's only happen on Main character of Neir
mesh file = pl0000.dtt
anim file = pl000f.dat
anim perfix = pl0000
char can be preview with animation in Neosis, but will crash when export char with anim, i tried export fbx, psa and they all crash
also tried export from preview, and crash as well

all other char of that game working well, seems like it's too many anim data may cause out of memory (i do have enough physical memory)

Support for OkamiHD?

From what I can tell Okami is following a similar file system for models as the PG standard. It would be great to have an external way of viewing the models and understand the model structure a little better myself. Granted, I may just be too tired rn and am missing something obvious. Either way, if needed I can provide samples of the models and share what I know so far.

missing translation on root bone

hi,

after check the exported fbx animation, i notice there has no X and Z data on root bone's translation, only Y axis data has animation, which cause tone of foot sliding to character, so any idea to solve it?

Noesis MGR missing texture issues.

I know this probably isn't the place to ask, or maybe I am just doing something wrong, but I am at my wits end after trying to solve this issue on my own. The preview of MGR models within Noesis will show specific textures as flat white textures that will not extract when exported, leaving me with plenty of missing textures, as well as spamming the debug log with repeated errors that the texture failed to read.

It only seems to be for specific models, like the ones shown above. As some will load textures perfectly fine and export with everything intact, this one being an example.

I assume the textures I'm missing are either hidden away in some texture archives that I've been unable to find or I must be doing something incorrectly. Overall; I'd appreciate any insight into this if possible, as I cannot find much about it online. This issue has certainly stumped me and my projects.

DMCHD Support

I would like to ask if the plugin can support DMCHD collection files as they seem to have the same file structure and also uses .dat and .mot files.

Nova Prime from Transformers Devastation

Less of an issue, more of an inquiry.

Just wanted to see if Nova Prime had a functional rig to his file. He was in pre-rendered cutscenes so I was surprised to see his files in here. If not, that's fine, I can get someone else to rig him for a price.

Nier Automata exporting animation

Hi, I'm getting help from a transloator, and I'm using Noesis64bit (4464) for exporting 2B ( pl0000.ddt, pl000f.dat) animations.

In the process of extracting, the result dosen't come out when it is exported to FBX at the end. Even if i Wait for a day. T^T..

Wondering if there's separate way to exporting it, or if there is a tag ( Advanced Option ) or need other plug-in.

I've checked several other issues, but I don't understand them well, So I'll leave them. Thank you!

Some .DAT files of MGRR couldn't be previewed

I tested all the .dat files of player and enemies,it seems only those of Riden and soldiers using single knives ,greatswords and hammers have this issue. It works well on DLC Sam ,DLC Blade Wolf and other enemies include bosses.
When I tried to extract those .dat files, it warned this way

Hello there.
I'm interested in Bayonetta model modding, but I really don't get what does it mean to install the plugin. I've tried putting the files in the plugin folder, in the pluginsource file, and even the optional plugins folder. I also deleted the Bayonetta.dll file, but nothing seems to work.
Can you explain me how to install it?

Astral Chain Texture Replacement

Hi, thanks for your work on these scripts. I've been trying to mod textures for Astral Chain, but the textures are not showing up in game. I think this is because either the DAT files or WTA files contain hashes for the files, unless I'm doing something wrong. Is the hash table for the DAT supposed to be recalculated when the files are are reassembled or will this basically be reinserted without changes? I'm thinking maybe this was never solved because there's no real mods for this game.

MGR texture issue

Alot of the models in Noesis don't have textures applied to them and I was wondering if there was a way to fix this

The Wonderful 101

First of all, thank you so SO MUCH for all the work you've done on the platinum games. I'm a really big fan of their productions and being able to study their assets is invaluable to me, I learnt a lot thanks to your plugin.

I'm looking into the wonderful 101 assets right now and models seem to work perfectly, at least all the models in the pl folder that I've tested seem to load fine.
However contrary to other games in which there were some dtt files next to the .dat, the pl folder only contains the .dat files. The textures seem to be stored in a big pl_texture.wtb file and as such the plugin doesn't grab them.

Also I didn't manage to find the animations, I tried all the "traditionnal" files like pl000f.dat etc but that didn't work.

So if you have the time I'd really appreciate if you could look into that game. No rush at all and once again thanks a ton for all you do ! Take care !

Set up confusion, misunderstanding plug in adding steps

I'm confused over adding the plug in to the file, but I really need to get this plug in, hopefully Kerilk doesn't close this before I can get some help, but I am royally screwing up adding the plug in, the directions are confusing me, so having help giving very blunt and clear guiding, exact file locations and names would help greatly.

Texture Keep asking Load Shared texture Anarchy reign PS3

I have a problem with Anarchy reign ps 3 where the plugin keep asking to "Load the shared Textures in other files?" even after I load like the previous Issue do it still asking like selecting the file pl00b0.dat and then select pl00b1.dat but after that it still asking the same question and after I cancel it it just show "the file can't be reviewed, but may exported"

Astral Chain Emissive Meshes not loading/exporting

Hey! Amazing with work with the plugin,
I found that when exporting maps, meshes with emissive properties don't seem to load in on Noesis or on export (specifically on maps).
