dvorak-qwerty's Issues

Would be great if it also worked for the Windows key.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Switch to the Dvorak layout.
2. Run dvorak-qwerty.
3. Press Windows-E (which will produce a period (.), since you're in dvorak)
4. No explorer window is opened :-(. To do that, you have to press Windows-D.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It would be nice if the Windows key also switch back to the qwerty layout.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7, newest version of dvorak-qwerty as of this post.

Please provide any additional information below.

[feature] Can we make Ctrl+Shift+v to paste in terminal?

OS: CentOS Linux release 7.6.1810 (Core)
$XDG_SESSION_TYPE: x11
$DESKTOP_SESSION: mate

Sometimes while skimming through documentation online, I usually just copy and paste it into my vim session running inside my terminal. The xdq tool works fine with normal C-c, C-v, C-x, but should it also handle C-S-v?

Great prog, but doesn't work with non-English layout

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Switch to non-English layout (Russian)
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
F.i.: Cntl-D instead of Cntl-X

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
from Feb 05, Win 7 x64

Please provide any additional information below.
Great piece of software. Could you pls adopted to work with non-English
layout as well

Strange fix for Linux Mint

Edit: My mistake; after I compiled the new code, I accidentally executed the old binary and it coincidently started working.

After this failed to work for my system (Linux Mint 17.2, Cinnamon 2.6.13), I did some snooping in xev and the source code.

I found that making kDvorak[] the same as kQwerty[] somehow did the trick. So for anyone stuck, try this:

Line 117-123:
const char kDvorak[] =
"-="
"qwertyuiop[]"
"asdfghjkl;'"
"zxcvbnm,./";

Program cannot Toggle Between On and Off

Usually, I have to switch between Dvorak and Qwerty because a lot of programs
are hardcoded to use the Qwerty (a huge example is any Flash Application). This
program cannot toggle between on and off without closing or opening the
program. It would be nice if the program automatically detected the keyboard
layout and disabled itself when the layout is actually Qwerty.
