I'm trying to run this on my Steam Deck (currently running SteamOS) but I get the above error when I try running the makepkg -si command. Any ideas of what I can try?

First I'd like to say, thanks for working on this, as there's definitely no way I would've even gotten close to getting this working without your setup, and second I'll preface with: I'm more on the beginner side when it comes to Linux, so I apologize if I say something dumb.

I cloned the repo and followed the steps in the readme. I downloaded the deb, placed it into the folder with the other files, edited the url to just point at the deb and let er rip.

Everything seemed to install correctly. When I check the screenconnect portal, my machine is displaying and showing that it's connected; however, when I try to connect, I just sit at a black screen. It doesn't even say "Waiting for your guest...". This first led me to believe that maybe it was Wayland being Wayland. Did a quick swap to Xorg, but it was the same outcome.

If there's any information I need to pass over, I apologze, as I don't know what it would be, but if given the commands to find out, I will gladly post the output here. Thanks.
