HWM: Windowsで動くWindow Managerを作るために必要な機能を調査したもの とても便利なdwm-win32を常用しているものの、いろいろ問題があるので自作したいと思った。 dwm-win32 http://www.brain-dump.org/projects/dwm-win32/ dwm-win32の素晴らしいところ * dwmがかなり良い感じにWindows上で再現されている dwm-win32のちょっと悲しいところ * Windows上で動作することによる種々の問題 * たまに強制終了する。 * 強制終了したとき、他の仮想desktopにあるwindowが見えないままになる * 仮想desktopで、master windowの幅が共通 * dwm baseなのでC言語で記述されている 方針 * HaskellまたはRubyで富豪的に書きたい ** Haskellならreactive使ってみたい * 設定が気軽に変更できる仕組みが欲しい * 無理せず開発を続ける 着地点 * 日常的に使う機能を実装 ** TODO: 普段なにげなく使用している機能をlist化して実装の優先順位を付ける
