Do you have a working example in codepen that i could see and compare with
my code?
I am using Ionic 1.7.15 angular v1.3.13

The problem is with ordering the month list, i tried fixing it by myslef
and failed to do so, maybe you can suggest
This line:

Should have an " *| OrderBy: Number(index) *" or something alike. inside
the ng-options (i guess its not index that should be inside the orderBy)

When I get some free time I'm going to look into it if I'm able to reproduce with your angular version.

OK I've reproduced it recently with the angular version you are using. I will try to come up with a solution soon.

Workaround: use ionic >=1.1.0 OR angular >=1.4.0
