ACG Tools is a collection of 100 Dynamo & Python scripts that automates various tasks in Revit. Each tool helps architects work in efficient and consistent manner. To load the tools as buttons in a Revit you must install Dyno Browser and have access to the ACG's custom definitions.
- Ensure Revit is properly installed
- Open Dynamo from the Manage tab in Revit
- Edit Preferences to :
- load definition from R:\3600_IT\3605_BIM\3605_17_Dynamo\02-Definitions
- set default Python engine to IronPython2
- Install latest version of Dyno Browser
- can be downloaded from http://prorubim.com/en/
- Paste all packages from R:\3600_IT\3605_BIM\3605_17_Dynamo\03-Packages\x.xx to C:\Users\user.name\AppData\Roaming\Dynamo\Dynamo Revit\x.xx\packages
- Open Dyno Browser from the Manage tab in Revit
- Right click to Settings
- Add path to R:\3600_IT\3605_BIM\3605_17_Dynamo\01-Scripts_Dyno Scripts
- Restart Revit
- Et voila!
