Description

A mobile application to track house plants and their watering schedule, with alerts via push notification. This is a mobile application developed for Android and suitable for Ios.

EDA Project

This version uses TypeScript, React Native, Expo, Android build, (a full list of dependencies can be found in package.json)

Development Setup Instructions

• Run npm install
• Run npm start to run the application adn open up a browser tab at localhost:8081
• Run npx expo run:android to run mobile simulator:

Lay of the Land

Directory Structure:

• app/ contains the React Native application
• android/ contains the build files
• expo/ contains the expo files

Usage

1. User adds a new plant complete with uploaded image and description
2. User creates watering schedule for each plant, including alerts/reminders
3. Push notifications alert user when its time to water
4. User can edit schedules, alerts, and plant info at any time
