No permissions [bug] [high priority]

hello,
installed simplespleef-evolution for 1.4.6, i installed vault and worldedit and pex. i gave me all permissions for simplespleef and other plugins(- '*'). there is no yaml error. but if i type /spl it say:
/spl is the SimpleSpleef command - You have no permissions to use it at all!
and if i do /spl join or /spla it will say:
you dont have permissions for the command join/admin. you need the permission simplespleef.join./simplespleef.admin.
PLEASE HELP!

Could not connect to remote server

This happens every time the server is up.

Teleportation Issues

SimpleSpleef v3.4.2 with CB 1.4.6-R0.1

  1. When Players Are Teleported To The Lobby The Fall Through The Floor, I had to create a floor below it to stop them from falling.

  2. Even with teleportation prevention set to false in the config it still will not allow Craftbook's Lift Signs to work..

Spleef in game countdown;

Well the problem is that sometimes , i still haven't found the reason) the in game countdown never starts and if we kill ourselves in the spleef arena the game never ends and the game stops working till i disable/enable it or restart the server.
I am using the spade method of the spleef arena, and the reason might be when someone doesn't do /spl ready??

Im using group manager

Multiple spawn points (more than two)

I would like to request multiple spawn points for both default and team games. I currently use this plug-in not only for Spleef, but for automated Arena battles and a Maze Race. I would like to implement this for a King of the Ladder game type but that would require multiple spawn points.

I apologize if this is redundant I have not spent the time to go through all current tickets.

People getting kicked out

Me and players are getting kicked out from the server when playing with the error message:

  1. floor degeneration doesn't seem to be working. 3. signs are not working. 4. the start up block does not work.

Spleef and /fly from essentials.

Well I was looking at the coding and saw that spleef doesn't set a player flying to false.
I tested this and I saw it is true, If I activate /fly while in survival mode and enter spleef I am still able to fly after the game starts.
Thanks for all the support.

Rewrite the entire codebase

Preferably an upgrade path from 3.x to 4.x should be provided, so things can be smooth.

I will be keeping this bug open indefinitely until 4.0 is ready.

floor doesn't get restored

After playing the Snow Block Floor doesn't get restored.

I am using SimpleSpleef v3.4 for CB 1.3.1-R2.0 Aug 24, 2012. With Craftbukkit #2352 Beta 1.3.2 R0.1 and I do not have Spout.

HELP!!!!

the floors wont reet can somoen tell me how?!

Naming consistency

Simple request. Change the naming convention of the spawns winner/lose to something more consistent E.G.: win/lose or winner/loser.

New feature

  • When 1 player logout during the game and re-join Can remain in the arena
    Instead it should be return to spawn server
  • The game start when 5-7 player are ready (clicked the iron block)
    Its customizable in config.yml
  • Many players can camper in the corners and we need anti-camp >->

Spawn game issues

I have just added this plugin the other day. It works great and very fun game the only issue i have is the tp system in it. I have set the game spawn from the base block to 3blocks up and someone still gets stuck in under the floor in the lava. my floor is currently snowblocks and the lava has a gap or 2 blocks under the floor. Any ideas?

Consider name change or tutorials of different game types

I currently use this plug-in not only for Spleef, but for automated Arena battles and a Maze Race. I feel you guys should generalize the use of this plug-in more as it can serve multiple purposes. Losing shovels

When people are going into spleef with their diamond shovel, they don't get it back when the game ends.

I tested this by giving myself an enchanted diamond shovel. I joined the game and got my inventory replaced with just a normal diamond shovel (like it should). When the game was over, my diamond shovel was not returned.

Is this a anti camp? I set the number to 4 and the arena wouldnt regen at all.

Permission plugin not found.

So im running bukkit 1.4.6-R0.2, PermissionsBukkit 2.0, and SimpleSpleef v3.4.2 . I still get [SimpleSpleef] Permission plugin not found... shutting down!

"You may not dig here" after game starts

I used worldedit to define the arena, then I used worldedit to select the floor and defined the floor. Once I start the game and try to dig the dirt, it says "you may not dig here."

Commands wont work on quit

  1. When You Lose , you are forced to be unable to use /spl leave or any / commands like /tpa , /spawn, /home... nothing... until a winner is determined.

Note on materials: If you use numbers for IDs and data values, make sure that you use an amount! E.g.: 1:35:5 or WOOL:5 works, but not 35:5!

RED_WOOL does not work! Use WOOL:14 instead!

Also, if you use single item ids (like 42 for iron block, make sure to suround them with ' - e.g. '42'. If you forget to do this, Bukkit

will interpret the value as integer and bug SimpleSpleef...

I run the /spla arena command and nothing works, could you please help me, I really want to use this plugin.

Server Gets spammed

When somone dies even if they arent spleefing it says (name) died horribly in (all spleef arenas list) and ideas?

Could not pass EntityChangeBlockEvent to SimpleSpleef v3.4

The Console shows the error as this:

I have it running with Bukkit version 1.4.6 R0.1 Beta Build #2561.

I have it running with quite some other plugins running. HawkEye and Worldguard have had the same problem, but updating them solved the issue. The error shows up every half of a second or less, lagging the server quite a bit.

As we are still testing the plugin, 6 out of 7 permission groups dont have permission to use it. Could this be a problem? Oh, and i am running it with McMyAdmin, if this might be a problem, i don't know. If there is any other information you might need in order to get a view on things, and of course if you can be bothered about it, please mail me at [email protected]. Thank you in advance.

MonsterLag @ Arena rebuild after a game + while countdown

If a game is ended and the arena will be restored there is a big lag for approx. 1-4 seconds.

The same lags appears if we use the shovel while countdown.

Spleef in game countdown; Again;

I tested with the new build and the problem is still not solved and I found the cause of it, well if someone joins spleef and then quits the server before /spl ready It cant start the game anymore.AND BAM there goes spleef :P

The floor won't restore...

I have read the other ticket and replaced all the old snow blocks with the new ones doesn't work. The floor still won't restore. I have used true, soft and simple as the settings for restoring it... Here is my config

Note on materials: If you use numbers for IDs and data values, make sure that you use an amount! E.g.: 1:35:5 or WOOL:5 works, but not 35:5!

RED_WOOL does not work! Use WOOL:14 instead!

Also, if you use single item ids (like 42 for iron block, make sure to suround them with ' - e.g. '42'. If you forget to do this, Bukkit

will interpret the value as integer and bug SimpleSpleef...

Floor Restoration.....

Is there a way i can make the floor restore without having to reload the server because my server crashes every time i do.

Bad Compressed Data Format

Well, i loved this plugin because it had EVERYTHING i wanted to customize for the spleef game, but i need to point out that whenever a game of spleef starts, a couple of seconds into it, all of the players who have the chunks loaded where the spleef arena is at, they get kicked for "Bad compressed data format" errors, multiple times. This has caused players to get stuck in a nonexistant game, and players losing all of their items/armor that was supposed to be saved when the game starts.

I wish i could post a stacktrace error report, but the console and server log show NO indication, whatsoever, of anything going wrong.
