APL Auction 2019, mainly focused on player registration and for captains to make and see changes for their wishlist

Project Description

It is a web project with backend on mlab and mongoDB.

JAVA Spring Boot framework is used to make the resources to talk to backend.

HTML, CSS, JS and Angular framework are used for front end scripting

Prequisties

• JDK - JDK 8 with environment set
• Spring Tool Suite (STS) - Spring tool suite install it by extracting

Installation

It requires to have Spring tool Suite or Eclipse for the installation (You can also work with atom or vs code or even command line, but I dare not to :P)

• Import git project from this repo on to your eclipse or spring tool suite
• Update Maven Project
• Run as Java Application
• Application is hosted on http://localhost:8080

Development

Project structure mainly recides in io/apl/springstarter/

• "resources" folder mainly used for storing all controllers for the spring boot.
• "model" folder mainly focused to store the backend model that recides on mongo db.
• "APLAuctionAPP.java" is the main app which is responsible for running in the server on local host in this case.
• It is a mavenized architecture with spring boot as main driving XML, contact admin before adding in any dependencies.
