Description

Mutlithreaded script to copy text from video file or camera. It is based on Tesseract OCR and OpenCV libraries.

Dependencies

OpenCV 3.2.0
Tesseract 4.00
Leptonica 1.75
C++ in version at least 14

Building

cd CopyTextFromVideo
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
make

Using

./CopyTextFromVideo -v [file path or 0 to capture from camera] 2> /dev/null

Example

./CopyTextFromVideo -v video.mp4 2> /dev/null
