Jason Jay Dookarun's Projects
This program creates an acrostic poem through the use of an input from the user.
The provided program employs an SDL2 lirbary to illustrate graphical components, coded in C and C++. This program has been developed and created by Parallel Realities titled "Pete's Pizza Party 6". The aims of this project were to develop an extension to the existing piece and further elaborate the changes that were made. As part of this project, a skeleton code was provided to support my development, authorised by the University of Reading. I would like to thank Dr Julian Krunkel for his support during this project.
The following project focuses on the application of data analytics by using Pandas Dataframe, Python and Twitter's API. For this project, we will be browsing a selection of three Twitter handles, namely MercedesAMGF1, McLarenF1 and RedBullRacing, all three being representatives of constructors in the Formula One sport. To initiate the retrieval of data, an application was submitted to Twitter Developers to give us the appropriate role to access certain levels of data access, later used as part of this task. Once the level of access was granted, an API connection was granted by using consumer key and secret, access token and access token secret followed by a bearer token. All of the mentioned were used, however, due to privacy, the keys have not been included as part of this submission. I would also like to thank Dr Miguel Razo Sanchez and Charith Avancha Fragoso for their contributions towards this project.

This project focuses on the development and creation of a dashboard to deliver and present results related to COVID-19. A product/dashboard has been developed by using KNIME Analytics Platform and Tableau Desktop, with a publication available, as listed below.

We have been tasked with creating an e-learning tool to help people get better educated about the risks and safety procedures related to the coronavirus pandemic. As a group we have decided to create a website to display information and data related to the virus to the user, allowing them to gain a better understanding of how to stay safe.
