langorhythm's Issues

chrome compatable

Meteor isn't chrome compatible, can you run it on something chrome compatible, please.

langorhythm works but no music output in speakers or headphones

I have langorhythm working. I get a good console log as shown in the attached image. however I do not get any music output in the headphones or the speakers. I tried all the possible ports - midi port0 and timidity port 0, port 1, port2, and port3. Is it because it needs may be an alsa port?

Slight Issue

So from what I can interpret from this, as I am fairly new to coding, is that your coding is specifically calling for a file/directory, "Users/jwktje/Development...", that is not present on my computer even after downloading the ZIP and following the steps you also outlined on Youtube. I hope that you see this because I am fascinated by your work and belief in creativity, especially in music, (I also know of your collaborations with Andrew as well as your own channel). Thanks a lot!

Software License

What software license should be considered for this project? I think this is an amazing concept, but as a developer I'm not sure of what's allowed to be modified, distributed, etc. I fully believe in giving credit where it's due, so explicitly stating "what's allowed" would be very helpful for myself and future developers.

I ask specifically because in the official GitHub docs it mentions:

without a license, the default copyright laws apply, meaning that you retain all rights to your source code and no one may reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from your work

This makes it sound like even forking the code is not allowed..

Add links to reference materials in README

So I keep seeing elsewhere that you've presented this at TED, but I can't find the link for that anywhere. Providing that and maybe the link to the andrew huang video in the README could help get more context around this.

I'm planning on updating the README with at least the Virtual Midi stuff I went through on Mac, try and give the install/setup a bit more context. I'll most likely PR that this weekend.

Meteor won't run

I'm running Windows and installed Meteor yesterday. I've since been trying to get this project to run. But when I run "meteor" or "meteor run" in CMD it doesn't work. Am I missing something?

Application requirements / first run issues

So I found you from an Andrew Huang video, and tried to get this up and running, though I'm running into some difficulties.

I got Meteor installed, and can successfully get the server up, but once inside the app, I'm not sure what is needed to run this. Here's the view I'm seeing:

I did receive a request for access to my "midi" devices, though I don't have any connected... Do you have any tips on getting this up and running from scratch?

Missing .midifiles folder

Meteor console is showing an error when I hit play, because a folder called .midifiles in the Meteor build folder is missing. I can manually create it, but it's still not working. The console will show the computed scale and BPM, but nothing is pushed to the Midi interface.
