I created a similar project visitor-badge and hosted on the glitch.com to avoid the free hours limitation in heroku.

So I will archive this project and migrate the current data to new project one by one.

Migration is done!!!

Please switch to new project and use the same repo_id value as page_id parameter, I will migrate the current data one by one. After that, I may stop deploy this project to heroku.

Sorry for the inconvience and hope you have a better experience with the new project.

Add today.svg badge generation

add a new endpoint today.svg to generage a badge only count visitor in current day.

use countAPI instead

Use countAPI as counter persistance plan instead of postgreSQL database to make it more independent and also avoid heroku's free plan limitation of database, only allows 10000 lines.

Count start from 0 due to heroku free plan will sleep the app

Since current app is deployed on heroku free plan , if no request in 1 hour, the app will be sleeped.

All the cached count will be lost and start over from 0 again.

Need to persist the count instead of cache in memory.
