Upgrade s6-overlay to lastest S6 Release

Any plans to upgrade skaware into s6-overlay?
I'm using Docker with Debian: Jessie (8) but after updating the images to Debian: Stretch (9), there have been some strange behaviors.

I would like to upgrade to the latest version of s6.

versioning

We need to decide how to version our releases:
<major>.<minor>.<version>:

  • <major>: big/breaking changes in skaware.
  • <minor>: backward compatible changes in skaware due to new functions/utilities or bug fixes.
  • <version>: changes in packaging/builds/etc, or bug fixes dependant packages, like musl.

So the latest version should have been tagged as 1.9.1 and not as 1.10.0, but @jprjr what do you think?

Upgrade to latest s6 software releases

An upgrade to latest s6 software releases would be welcome. Current version have missing binary(ies). For example, s6-notifyoncheck is missing.
