pioneeralumnicircle's Issues

Bump up search engine rankings

By adding spiderable package, adding meta tags across pages and adding links to our current social media accounts etc.

Allow editing of bursary pages by admin users

Instead of needing a code update whenever there is a change in bursary donators, we should allow admin right users to be able to edit it directly after logging in to offload the responsibility of updating the site

Update bursary page

By adding the sliced up bursary pictures that will be provided by PAC soon.

Sync side navigation with current navig-able links

Currently, on mobile users are able to click on "dashboard" which is not supposed to happen.

Furthermore, we should remove the button on the top left and only let users slide it out if they want to.

Add "Exco / Core Members" page into current about page

Due to the lack of content on both of the current page on pioneeralumnicircle.org, we should combine them into one page, this reduces the number of links that users need to navigate around. Furthermore, the current amount of content of "About PAC" is rather short to warrant a whole page for it.

Build up navbar

As per hand drawn design, remember to note that mobile and bigger screen devices should see a different navbar, use the display: none; property to do that.

Look into adding actionable stuff

The site looks slightly too plain now, we need to re-evaluate how to add some green / blue / red when some pictures have been added to the bursary and home page after the pictures and logo etc have been given to us.

For example, green text for "unraveling" full content of the cards, italicise name of poster e.t.c. so that the eyes have a good sense of what to follow, what actions can be done and so on and so forth.

Update the navlinks

The obvious navlinks should point to "Home", "Bursary" and "Timeline" instead of the current "Home", "About" and "Bursary".

This should be done after the "Bursary" page has been built.

Change up color scheme of navbar and footer

Currently red and white as per materialize's default CSS, we could make it more black and white with minimal colors for visitor's attention rather than having so much flashy colors.

Remove sign in / register from navbar

Remove for now because we don't actually want self registered users, we will eventually have an admin page for admins to edit posts etc. but right now we shouldn't allow it.

Update readme.md

Things to include (not exhaustive):

How to set up
How to contribute
Application stack

Build up timeline page

With a placeholder timeline, mimic-ing that of the old page until we have a good gauge from PAC
