binarybuilder.org's Issues

Add a step-by-step walkthrough of what the wizard is doing

The wizard asciinema is nice, but does a lot of things. It would be nice to have a walkthrough of what it does. I think the simple version would just be a bunch of "screenshots" (ideally asciinema could generate this from the cast as a static something, but I'm not sure it's able to do that) of various interesting stages with explanatory text. Of course a fancy version could overlay explanations onto the actual asciinema, but that's probably more trouble than it's worth (unless somebody feels like having some javascript fun).

gh-action updating the site needs updating

Starting ssh-agent
Error: Unable to process command '##[set-env name=SSH_AUTH_SOCK;]/tmp/ssh-auth.sock' successfully.
Error: The `set-env` command is disabled. Please upgrade to using Environment Files or opt into unsecure command execution by setting the `ACTIONS_ALLOW_UNSECURE_COMMANDS` environment variable to `true`. Add a table of all the toolchains we have

I think it would be nice to show exactly what OSes/compilers/libcs etc. we support. I considered spending some time on adding this, but
a) I don't know the current state of things
b) I didn't really know how to best present this information, since there's so many variables
c) I didn't trust my CSS skills to actually implement it

As a result, I'm leaving this here as a TODO. I think the first step here is just to figure out how to present the information, so if somebody wants to do a hand-drawn table that somebody else can then turn in HTML, I think that would be fine.
