subreddit-css's Issues

Remove large ocean footer background

I noticed that Naut 4 has some sort of ocean background image in the footer. Looks a bit out of place in my opinion, but I'm not sure what to replace it with.

Convert to pre-processor for easier editing

I'd be happy to translate this all to SCSS, if contributors/owners don't mind the extra straight-forward compilation step. This would make it easier to edit / add on to in the long run.

Let me know if there's any interest!

Can't sort comments

In FireFox 53.0.3 (64-bit) on Ubuntu I cannot change the sort order for comments. When I click the sort menu it opens, but when I click any item it closes the menu and activates/focuses on the comment text area. This only happens on the /r/web_design subreddit.

I can make the comment sorting work by disabling the z-index for ".commentarea .usertext-edit textarea" in the inpspector, however this is not a reasonable workaround for every day use.

visited link colors

The purple for visited links
.md a:visited{color:#7D5D8A}

is too close to the color of .md text (#292f34).
Could we use #609 instead of #7D5D8A?
why or why not? thx

I think that the header image looks a bit out of place

I just think something a bit less basic or something almost completely flat would look better than that strangely shadowed blue bar.

As the rest of the design is reminiscent of material design in many positive ways, maybe something that looks material design.

Banner Viewing Issue

Can you please explain to me, why this theme's masthead has so much trouble with scrolling? I just scrolled back to the top, and half the background is missing from the header. This happened with the previous version too. Now, 2/3 is missing. Now it's all back again. Now a little strip is missing from the bottom left corner.

I'm on a Macbook Pro with an i7, using the latest Chrome. One tab is open and it still does it.

Search bar button broken?

I was wondering if the magnifying glass button for the search bar was meant to be as it is now. You can see what I mean by hovering over it. ex. http://www.reddit.com/r/web_design

magglass

It may be me and my OCD but it just doesn't look right. I altered the css code and removed the button all together on my test subreddit page and it looks so much better.

Its just a thought. Awesome theme by the way!!!
