👋 Hey! I'm Jakub Beneš, a Software Engineer based in Prague.

I'm passionate about scaling engineering, organizational design, and leadership. I'm a huge fan of web technologies and modern approaches within this field. While I'm a strong contributor on the frontend side, lately, I've been focusing more on the entire stack and infrastructure because there's often low-hanging fruit that can deliver a massive impact – and I enjoy seizing such opportunities. I'm not sure if I'll ever start liking YAML, though. 🤓

alfred-emoji's Issues

Installation error - path/file can't be found

Thanks for your quick response to the previous issue! So I've tried a few times/ways to install (reinstalling, removing, ensuring npm was updated), but they all gave me this error:

npm ERR! enoent This is related to npm not being able to find a file.

I also ensured that my node.js was up-to-date by installing nvm. When doing so I got a tree of packages that showed what might be useful info for alfred-emoji:

Create option for "offline" vocebulary

Also, fallback to it (https://github.com/jukben/emoji-search) when no connection is available.

Does not find all emojis

open Alfred type 'e Magnet', should find the magnet emoji

Update alfy to 0.8.0 in package.json

This will fix this issue: SamVerschueren/alfred-link#20

It occurs when a user tries installing your workflow from npm as their very first workflow after installing Alfred 3. It is because a /workflows does not exist until you create a workflow in Alfred.

Workflow is causing Alfred to run multiple times

It seems that your awesome workflow is causing Alfred to run multiple times. Which results in the text expender to past 3 times the output I need.

Move emoji description to the subtitle and use lowercase

Thank you for sharing. The AI search is very convenient. The all caps description in the title is a bit irritating though. Could you move it to the subtitle and use lowercase?

Newest releases don't contain .alfredworkflow releases anymore
